In the first companion essay, I wanted to take you through the first 6 chapters and pull of the ideas of each because they are integral for establishing Sayers’s analogy for God as author and Trinitarian analogy of Idea, Energy, and Power (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). But in this essay, I want to cover those ideas I think are especially interesting from the latter half of the book as they relate to her analogy. EVIL
In chapter 7, Sayers covers one the most difficult problem in philosophy and theology: The Problem of Evil. If God is so good, how and why is there any evil at all?
