I'm Running a Spring Paid Subscriber Sale - 15% Off Subscriptions
I've Got Another Baby Coming Soon, Time to Raise Diaper Funds
My wife and I are expecting our second daughter near the end of June. We are stoked. This does utterly skew our family, however. We are now officially a girl family; I am a girl dad two times over. Lots more unicorns on the way, though I’m hoping they’ll want to do jiujitsu with daddy too.
This is a great time to run a sale and raise some more diaper funds. If you just subscribed recently at full price, please don’t feel salty about that. You’re supporting my work for 15% more and helping me provide for my growing family as I try to do this independent scholar thing and help you learn as I learn. Thank you for all of your support!
For those who don’t already support my work but could use a good excuse to start, tight now, until May 16th, you can get 15% off a paid subscription to Parker’s Ponderings and get access to all of my philosophical companion essays for my book club, access to our paid subscriber Zoom book club discussions and recordings, access to all my exclusive essays, notebook tutorials and videos, and other exclusive posts like my 8 part systematic theology course.
I’m probably forgetting other perks too. There’s a lot I offer to my paid subs to keep them around and learning.
Another way to support my work, and dive deeper into philosophy and theology along the way, is to pick up a copy of one of my philosophy magazines.
Sages, Mages, & Wisdom Machines is a philosophical science fiction and fantasy magazine where I write short stories around philosophical themes or retell Bible stories and then include a companion essay afterwards to help you catch Easter eggs I put in there and help you explore the philosophy and theology concepts more deeply.
Right now I have 4 issues ready to grab, both physical and digital.
Proverb Peddling is a philosophy through wise sayings magazine which is part commonplace book and part exposition on particular wise sayings. So far I have 1 issue ready physically and digitally.
You can find them all on my Etsy store through the button below:
Or, if you don’t like Etsy for some reason, check out my Shopify Zine shop below:
Thank you all for making my dream of teaching philosophy and theology outside the academy an ever more realistic pursuit.
