The Doctrine of the Church & Christian Living | Systematic Theology Class 7 of 8
I taught an introduction to and over view of Systematic Theology for my local church. It was 8 weeks, 8 classes, on 10 different loci, or topics, which started with the 10 Articles of the Evangelical Free Church of America’s Statement of Faith, and then goes in deeper into the systematic theology at play in each article.
So, if you’re in the EFCA, you’re in luck! You’re going to double benefit from this series. If not, this is still a systematic theology course and you’ll learn the basics and some of the deeper, and even cutting-edge, systematic theology that I picked up while in the academy and from talking with theologians and philosophers on my podcast, Parker’s Pensées.
Class 7, below the paywall, is a 70 minute teaching on the Doctrine of the Church and the Doctrine of the Christian Life. I also include the handout that I provided for my in-person class.
These lectures serve as bonus content for my paid subscribers. Thanks for supporting my work! You’ve helped me set aside the time it took to make this course and bless my local church. I’d like to continue bringing teachings to my paid subscribers. Maybe I’ll teach through the seminary courses I taught, sharing my own thoughts on the content, or even teaching through some of the philosophy courses I took in my phil. MA program. Let me know if you’re interested and if enough of you are then I’ll add it to my pile of projects and record some more courses for you!
