The Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence w/ Dr. Michael Huemer

A recording from my live Parker's Pensées episode here on Substack

Thank you Michael Huemer for joining me again! Everyone go subscribe to his publication, Fake Nous. And thanks all who joined, including Stephen Kent, Adrian Acosta, Marlon, Clint Bisbee, yhkrd, and many others who tuned in to my live video!

I decided to try a live episode of my podcast, Parker’s Pensées, here on Substack. It was fun! I wish it would have tagged Dr. Huemer’s audience as well but I’ll still learning to integrate Zoom into Substack. Even still, it was a success and I think I’ll do more of these in the future. I’m going to upload the episode to my Parker’s Pensées YouTube channel and all the podcast platforms as well, in case you prefer to listen there.

In this episode we discuss the philosophy of AI, machine consciousness, AI doom, whether or not AI will be a net positive or negative, AI and government, and AI and education—amongst some other random and fun philosophy stuff.

If you like what I do, please consider becoming a paid subscriber and supporting my work. That would be huge!
