I have a Sailor Progear myself, lovely pen. Once you start writing with fountain pens, it's impossible to go back! Perhaps you should make a video someday on the writing materials you use (pen, notebooks, etc.)?
I listened to the youtube video, linked with this post, whilst walking my dog today. Weirdly I connected with a very old House of Pain lyric "It ain't a crime if you don't get caught". By the end of the walk that became "It ain't a crime if you don't get caught, or you have enough money". I think I built my first aphorism on the back of a 90's HipHop lyric. Thinking about these things is actually quite fun.
I love this. I have been one who’s reluctant to journal for whatever reason, but have thought lately about just writing thoughts down. Having it presented this way makes the idea actually seem like it could be fun - pretending my stupid ideas are “wise sayings” and trying to style them that way just seems like a fun, game-like way of approaching it.
For bonus points, you can see how many you can put out there and have them falsely attributed to St. Francis of Assisi, C. S. Lewis, and/or Abraham Lincoln!
Is Parker a fountain pen nerd as well?
Not yet haha just got into then last year. My Sailor pen is amazing not really sure where to go next until I impulse buy a Montblanc

I thought I would see Gandalf's sayings here as example of aphorism
I quote a bunch in the video
Great stuff. Didn't realize Gandalf was such a philosopher. Thanks for bringing aphorisms to mind.
