The Human Condition | Systematic Theology Class 4

I’m teaching an 8 week systematic theology course at my church. It’s an overview of the different loci of systematic theology. We start each lesson with a point from the Evangelical Free Church of America statement of faith and then dive in deep into all the nitty gritty details of ST. I did my Master’s work under some of the best analytic and systematic theologians around and it’s my pleasure to share what I’ve learned with you all!

This lesson is week four of 8 but we didn’t get as far as I was hoping so I’ll have to figure out how to squeeze more stuff in later lessons. This one is on theological anthropology and harmartiology (the study of sin) but I was also supposed to cover the nature and work of Christ. Next time! Below the pay wall you’ll find the class outline in PDF and the full hour plus lesson. So you’ll need to upgrade to a paid subscriber for that but you’ll also get the other 7 lessons in this systematic theology course and all of my exclusive posts on notebook methods, my digital commonplace entries which is a collection of the wise sayings I’ve found, access to our Zoom call book club sessions, the past recored ones on C.S. Lewis’s Miracles as well as the future ones on Dune, and more! So please do consider becoming a paid subscriber, it’s a win-win.

Enjoy and thanks for supporting my work!
