Thanks for your help with the book recommendations and motivations, also with the definitions of philosophy. I tend also tend to have a strong attachment to etymology so I think “philosophia” from the Greek “love of wisdom” also creates a strong motivation to learn philosophy in opposition to what current ideologies in modern society are doing, which is leading people to abandon thought and healthy discussion and dwell on stupidity and irrational or illogical behaviour. Thank you very much for your work, it really makes a difference.
